Charming Stay in Historic District

renovated hotel lumiere suite double windows convenient sink

The recently renovated hotel offered a unique experience. Our Lumiere Suite had great light. Double windows completely blocked outside noise. The hotel's decor and layout suited our family well. I appreciated the sink inside the room. Also the option for both flat and bubbly water.

The bathroom had a very slight sewage smell, though it was manageable.

Breakfast included a set menu. The portions were quite generous. I could not finish everything offered. I thought the quality of the breakfast matched the hotel's overall standards.

Our Lumiere Suite provided ample space. The street view was interesting. Blackout curtains ensured darkness. The room's layout felt well thought out, though the price was high!

a mixed bag of stairs and smells

small room asparagus smell

the room was certainly small not much bigger than a broom closet to be frank the shower situation was rather baffling the water temperature swung wildly between arctic and volcanic it was like a cruel joke played by a sadistic plumber also there was this faint but persistent asparagus smell in the bathroom i suspect it was haunting the pipes or something it added a certain je ne sais quoi to my morning routine i really didn't need

Superb Hotel Experience

spacious suite water dispenser ample breakfast

The family suites included two full bathrooms and a door separated the sleeping areas. They were spacious enough for comfort. Espresso machines offered great coffee. A water dispenser in the lobby allowed us to refill water pitchers with sparkling or still water. Breakfast at the College Hotel across the street had ample options with great staff.

The room did not have much natural light. It felt a little gloomy.

The staff are helpful, friendly, and polite. The hotel has an affiliation with the College Hotel across the street. This allows guests access to a larger breakfast buffet with better variety. This is a good feature.

The hotel is right at the top of Vieux. Guests can access bouchons, shopping, and the subway to reach other sights. Parking is available across the road at the College Hotel. The car lift is an experience.

charming hotel in great location

professional staff clean layout gluten free bread

the front desk staff were professional and cute! the layout is beautiful and very clean. i was provided with gluten free bread for breakfast. they made everything easy.

the room was small, only 12 m2, with no outside window! just a view on the stairs of the emergency exit.

The breakfast was served to me, not a buffet! i could choose from a hot selection. croissants and breads. i ordered scrambled eggs. The food just kept coming. it was well worth it.
